Your journey begins with pickup from Casablanca airport or your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, beautifully located on the Atlantic Ocean. You check in to your hotel and relax after your arrival. Overnight stay in Casablanca.
After breakfast, you travel north along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. You visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, offering lovely views over the river and ocean. You have time to explore the city and enjoy lunch before checking in to your hotel for the night.
Leaving Rabat after breakfast, you travel to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. You visit Bab Mansour and walk through parts of the old medina. The journey continues to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient Roman ruins and mosaics. After exploring the site, you continue to Fes, arriving in the late afternoon and spending the night in a riad or hotel.
After breakfast, you enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes, one of the world’s oldest medieval cities. You explore the ancient medina, visit Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous leather tanneries. You also stop at panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city. Leaving Fes, you travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. You stop in Ifrane, known for its clean streets and European-style buildings, and continue to the cedar forests near Azrou, where you may see Barbary monkeys. After lunch, you drive through mountain landscapes toward Midelt, where you check in to your hotel and spend the night.
After breakfast, you drive through the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for palm groves and oasis villages. Several stops are made for photos and scenic views. Passing through Erfoud, you arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. You begin a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoy the sunset, and reach your desert camp for dinner, music, and a night under the stars.
You wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you explore the Merzouga region, visiting nomad families, desert villages such as Khamlia, and nearby oases. You have time to relax, walk in the dunes, or enjoy optional activities like sandboarding or a 4×4 desert drive. Second night near the dunes in a hotel or desert camp.
After breakfast, you leave the desert and travel west through Rissani, a traditional market town. You continue to the Todra Gorges, where you walk between high canyon walls. After lunch, you drive toward the Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and scenic roads. Overnight stay in the valley.
Following breakfast, you travel through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove, visiting kasbahs and enjoying oasis scenery. In the afternoon, you arrive in Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the Sahara. You check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.
After breakfast, you visit the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic views. You arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon or evening and spend the night in a riad or hotel.
After breakfast, you enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech. You visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square. You explore the souks and old medina before returning to your accommodation for the night.
On the final day, you travel west to the Atlantic coast, visiting the charming seaside town of Essaouira. You have time to explore the old medina, port, and coastal views, and enjoy lunch by the ocean. In the afternoon, you continue back to Casablanca, where you are dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your complete Morocco Sahara desert circuit.
