Your tour begins early in the morning with pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. You will travel through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, with stops along the way to enjoy panoramic views and take photos. The journey continues to the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient architecture and film history. After visiting the kasbah and having lunch nearby, you pass through Ouarzazate and continue toward the Dades Valley, where you enjoy dramatic rock formations and mountain scenery before spending the night at a local hotel or guesthouse.
After breakfast, you leave the Dades Valley and travel toward the impressive Todra Gorges, a natural canyon with high rock walls and a flowing river, where you have time to walk and take photos. The journey continues through desert towns such as Erfoud, known for fossils and date palms, as the landscape becomes more arid and desert-like. In the afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, where you switch to camels for a memorable trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, one of the most magical moments of the tour.
