Your tour begins early in the morning with pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. You travel through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass with stops for photos and scenic views. The journey continues to Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah known for its traditional architecture and film history. After visiting the site and having lunch, you continue to Ouarzazate, where you check in to your hotel and relax for the night.
After breakfast, you leave Ouarzazate and drive through the Skoura oasis, home to palm groves and historic kasbahs. The route continues through the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations and scenic mountain roads. You will have time to enjoy viewpoints and short walks before spending the night in a local hotel or guesthouse.
Following breakfast, you head toward the impressive Todra Gorges, where you can walk between the high canyon walls and enjoy the natural scenery. The journey continues through desert towns such as Erfoud, known for fossils and date markets. In the afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, where you start a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will enjoy a beautiful sunset before reaching your desert camp for dinner, traditional music, and an overnight stay under the stars.
After waking up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, you enjoy breakfast at the camp. This day is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga area, including visiting nomad families, desert villages, and nearby oases. You may enjoy a short walk in the dunes or relax in the desert environment. You spend a second night near the dunes in a hotel or desert camp, depending on your preference.
After breakfast, you leave Merzouga and travel to Rissani, a traditional market town with an important history in desert trade. The journey continues toward Errachidia and through the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its long palm groves and green oasis scenery. You stop along the way for photos and rest before spending the night at a hotel in the region.
On the final day, you travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Midelt and areas known for cedar forests and mountain landscapes. You may stop to see Barbary monkeys and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The journey continues back toward Marrakech, where you arrive in the evening and are dropped off at your accommodation, marking the end of the tour.
