Your tour starts early in the morning with pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. You cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping along the way to enjoy views and take photos. You then visit the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed site known for its traditional architecture and film history. After lunch, you continue to Ouarzazate, where you spend the night at a hotel.
After breakfast, you leave Ouarzazate and drive through the Skoura oasis, known for palm groves and old kasbahs. The journey continues through the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley. You enjoy scenic viewpoints and short walks before spending the night in a hotel or guesthouse in the valley.
Following breakfast, you travel to the Todra Gorges, where you have time to walk between the high canyon walls. You then continue through desert towns like Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon. Here, you begin a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoy a beautiful sunset, and reach your desert camp for dinner, music, and a night under the stars.
You wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes and enjoy breakfast at the camp. This day is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga area, including visits to nomad families, desert villages, and nearby oases. You can relax, walk in the dunes, or enjoy local music. You spend a second night near the dunes in a hotel or desert camp.
After breakfast, you leave Merzouga and visit Rissani, a traditional market town with a long desert trading history. The journey continues toward Errachidia and through the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and oasis landscapes. You stop along the way for photos and spend the night at a hotel in the region.
Following breakfast, you travel north through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Midelt and mountain landscapes. Along the way, you may stop to see cedar forests and Barbary monkeys. You spend the night in a hotel in the Middle Atlas region.
After breakfast, you continue through the Middle Atlas, visiting Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” You then drive through cedar forests before heading to Fes. Arrival is in the afternoon, where you check in to your accommodation and relax.
After breakfast, the tour ends in Fes. Depending on your schedule, you may be dropped off at your hotel, riad, or airport, marking the end of your 8-day Morocco adventure.
